Chief Financial Officer
The Chief Financial Officer is an integral part of the senior management team managing the financial and accounting functions of Royall & Company. The successful candidate works closely with the CEO to implement operational initiatives and help improve overall operational efficiencies. The CFO interfaces with Royall's lenders, equity sponsors, auditors, vendors, suppliers and others and is responsible for implementing, evaluating and maintaining organizational, operational and administrative controls within a lean company environment. The CFO is collaborative in his/her approach to the position responsibilities and is solutions driven in their approach to business challenges. In addition, you are responsible for the management and direction of all employees of the financial department and interface with all functions in the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting. MBA or MA/MS a plus.
  • Minimum of 15 years business experience with at least 5 years as an independent operating company CFO, manager of operations or similar position requiring related responsibilities.
  • CPA is desired and preferred.
  • Significant supervisory experience is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Corporate IT Support Technician
The Corporate IT Support Technician is responsible for supporting the corporate and sales staff by providing technical support including AV Equipment, laptops and other technical or system support necessary to nurture the client relationship. Also responsible for the installation, setup, maintenance and support of all end user hardware, printers, operating systems, productivity software and assists with related research and problem resolution as needed.
Specific Duties:
  • Install, setup, maintain and support all client side end user desktop operating systems. Current systems include Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OSX.
  • Install, setup, maintain and support all client side productivity applications. Current Applications include Microsoft Office XP Professional (Outlook, Word, Excel and Access), Microsoft Internet Explorer, Symantec AntiVirus, Quark Xpress, Adobe products, SalesLogix and other PC and Macintosh applications.
  • Provide technical support for the executive and sales staff by preparing laptops for travel, setting up and being available during client visits.
  • Provide excellent customer service for senior officers and university officials in a 24x7x365 on-call environment.
  • Setup and Configure mobile devices including iPhone’s, Treo’s, and Blackberry's.
  • Assist with client side network installation and maintenance, including network cabling and connectivity.
  • Assist with research and evaluation of new products, using tools such as the Internet and trade publications.
  • Assist with problem resolution by conducting research using the Internet, publications, and contacting manufacturers, as needed.
  • Provide support for various audio video equipment including projectors, video recorders and audio capture devices.

eProduct Specialist
We have an immediate opening for a full-time Electronic Production Assistant.
This entry-level position will assist the Information Services Department by using systems to setup outbound marketing email and web pages and perform quality assurance testing of websites.

Data Technician
Data Technician responsibilities include the manipulation and preparation of client data.  The position works closely with the Client Data Analyst, and other marketing professionals. 
The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related field with experience writing MS T-SQL scripts using MS SQL Server 2000. Experience creating basic packages using MS SQL Server 2000 DTS.  Technical requirements include  proficiency with MS Office Suite and SQL.  Additional required skills include excellent organizational and time management skills, detail oriented, and the ability to take initiative.  Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be a flexible team player with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Programmer
The primary role of this position is to support Web Designers and operational teams in the implementation of client instances of Royall & Company's web-based marketing programs. This includes Royall & Company's ASP based product engines utilities as well as VB6 applications. As support demand permits, Programmers will contribute to development efforts to extend and enhance the Company’s offerings and will assist in the Company’s migration from Microsoft ASP/VB to PHP.
We require our Programmers to have at least 2+ years experience writing code using the majority of the technologies listed below. A Bachelors degree in a computer science related program or 5 years professional experience is also required. Must have ASP, VB6, HTML, JavaScript, XML and T-SQL programming skills.

Strategic Analyst
We are looking for a passionate direct marketing professional to join our Analysis and Strategic Planning Group as a Strategic Analyst.  In this position, you would be responsible for driving the development of successful, integrated marketing strategies for clients through analysis-based problem solving and decision making.  Best candidates will have:
  • Experience applying a variety of analytical and statistical methods in tracking, analyzing and planning marketing campaigns
  • Experience presenting analysis and making strategy recommendations to both internal senior management and external client audiences
  • Experience developing and evaluating multi-channel testing strategies
  • Experience in conducting detailed analyses in Excel, SQL and MS Access is required. (Experience with SAS, SPSS or other predictive modeling tools even better!)
